Tonight, some of our Powellville Volunteer Fire Company members are standing by at Newark Volunteer Fire Company in Worcester County to allow their members to attend their annual banquet. We love supporting our neighboring communities and ensuring they enjoy some much needed time to celebrate their accomplishments over the year!

This morning on 4/15/2023, members of Powellvile Volunteer Fire Company trained at a burn at Worcester County Training Center. Here are some pictures from our very own member and Fire Fighter Tony Sandulli.

On Monday, 4/10/2023, some of our members assisted Newark in Worcester County on a controlled burn.

On October 4, 2021, an engine crew from Powellville Fire Company spent the day at Willards elementary school assisting Willards Fire Company with fire prevention week. Many thanks goes out to Willards Volunteer Fire Company Inc for allowing us the opportunity to help teach the importance of fire prevention and fire safety while giving the children a fun learning experience.

The Fire Company was alerted today for a Engine to assist Parsonsburg, Pittsville and Salisbury Fire Departments on working structure fire in Kilburnie Estates. Tanker 1101 and Engine 1104 responded to assist. Crews operated for about 2 hours then returned to service.

On 2/27/21 the Fire Company with the assistance of Newark FD had a drill on structural firefighting.
